On Aug 12, 2019, I sold the following naked put - FTR JAN 17'20 2 @1.35 or I roll forwarded my first put sell I made earlier this year (My First Option Trade: FTR Aug16'19 2 Put @0.45)
To make this roll forward happen first I had to sell my previous position (Loss here - $126) and open the new in which I collected a premium of $135
I made a small profit…
On July 5th, 2019, I made the following out of the money (OTM) put sell - FTR JAN 17'20 1 Put @0.2
This is already the thirty-sixth(#36) put sell from my short options trader career. For now, it seems I've found my way in options trading - I'm selling puts against (high) dividend-paying stocks I already own or I would like to have.
FTR is actually very risky stock to trade with, There is a huge possibility of bankruptcy, but as the money I risk in this trade is not huge, I will take the risk. lol. FTR was first stock I made options trade back in March 2019, see My First Option Trade: FTR Aug16'19 2 Put @0.45
Got for this trade a premium of $20, but I will be obligated to buy 100 shares of FTR if the price will drop below 1 USD per share by JAN 17 2020
Break-even price: $0.8
This trade gives 32.78% yield annually
