Roses is a fabulous town located on shores of Costa Brava in region of Catalonia, Spain. It's a major tourist spot with local Spanish tourists and tourists from France making a majority of visitors. I first arrived here from Girona heading to Figueras to Visit world's famous Salvador Dali museum.
Though I have not stayed overnight in Roses (instead I have stayed in Cadaques which is some 20 km distance from Roses), this place is a place were I would definitely like to return and stay for a longer stay. Speaking of what - for a longer stay in this charming coastal town-let I would need to have a nice accommodation.
There is a rule of thumb I'm trying to respect when travelling - I'm not wiling to pay more than € 50 per night. And thing is, with budget of € 50 you can get a really great deals.

The family-run Hotel Montmar is located near the centre of Roses, just 300 metres from the beach. Its rooms have air-conditioning and plasma-screen TVs.
