I have been using Linode's VPS since the end of 2012. And for now I can call it has been my best finding in this decade (so far).
In those last 2 years and couple of months I have recommended Linode services to customers of me, friends and of course have bought a few for myself, by extending my VPS base from one single Linode in 2012 to 4 Linodes at start of the 2015.
I'm using each Linode for different tasks, for example one one of them I'm hosting this blog (together with a few other sites), on other I'm having internal management/financial system, one I have for test server developments and so on.
Until this day I didn't now there exists a Linode referral program, just a logical feature for such a great service Linode offers (didn't I mention - for a valuable price?)
Turns out - Linode does have it's referral program, well it's different than many other Affiliate programs - the money you will earn with Linode must be spent on your Linode's. Technically you don't have an option to withdraw any funds from Linode (I don't know what happens if you decide to close your Linode account and you have a few millions dollars made from referrals, maybe you can opt-in for money back?)

Referrals reward you when you refer people to Linode. If someone signs up using your referral code, you'll receive a credit of $20.00, so long as the person you referred remains an active customer for 90 days.
