Welcome to the ninth (#9) options income report - covering earnings I've made from trading options (puts, calls, vertical spreads, iron condors) in the month of November 2019
Last November turned out the worst in my short options trader career, for the first time I actually had loses.
Last month I was mostly selling vertical spreads on SPX, SPY, GC, AEX, and ES. Because I started to take loses with indexes, I decided to return to the basics selling puts and calls on dividend stocks
I learn as I go, anything written here should be taken with a grain of salt, I'm no expert or certified financial advisor. Investments in stocks, options, funds, bonds or crypto are risk investments and you could lose some or all of your money. Do your due diligence before investing in any kind of asset.
- Gross: +$563.97
- Net: -$1,428.33
Gross = all trades during the month of November; Net = closed trades in the month of November
Options income table
The last November, in premiums, I've collected a negative -$1,428.33(after commissions), which SUCKS, but I will take it. Lessons learned. I should be much more careful with trades on indexes and futures.
Options income 2019 November
So far in 2019, I have collected in a total of $5,376.60. Amazing.
Goals for November 2020 Options Income
When trying to set goals for options income it's much harder and unpredictable than trying to forecast dividend income.
Anyhow I will try - my goal for November 2020 options income is to take $600 or more
