Temporarily Disabling E-mail subscriptions and Push Notifications

With upcoming GDPR regulation on May 26th, 2018, there is a lot of uncertainty for webmasters (at least for me), to be on the safe side - I've decided temporally to disable both new e-mail subscriptions and subscriptions for a push notifications.

There is no guaranteed time frame when both features will be back, and if, then not earlier than Q3 2018.

As this blog is using OneSignal (for push notifications) and MailChimp (for e-mail newsletter) third-party scripts for collecting subscriptions, I believe that after removing these scripts will help to improve page load times and help me prepare better for upcoming mobile first Google search rankings.
