I have been ready to make a switch from crop- sensor to full-frame camera for about past 6 months, but recently after a brief chat with a friend he convinced me that I might actually invest in glass (lens) and mine existing camera will be just fine.

I was surprised, after doing a quick DSLR camera search on Amazon to find this camera is best selling for a pretty long time already. More interesting you can buy already packed bundle, with first necessities - memory cards, tripods and even spare lenses. Buying them separate might add a lot to your budget, but having a bundle might save you a lot and kick start your photography.
