After a short unplanned day-trip to Kiev, we decided it's worth to return here again, most probably in Summer, and so we did. Returned to Kiev for a couple of days in August to celebrate my birthday here. During our 3 or 4 days stay in Kiev we stayed at hotel Ukraine which is a very centrally located (just behind the Independence Square) 4-star hotel. It was good, I even got a small complimentary gift on my birthday.
