There are a few simple reasons I enjoy Bakuriani as my winter holiday destination in Georgia (I have spent two Christmas here) - the scenery mountainous views, holiday feeling and during Western Christmas time (December 24-26) there are not too many folks (Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas on January 7).
