Welcome, to the second renewed crypto options trading report, where I share the results of how my crypto options trades performed in the month of October 2022.
For trading crypto options, I'm using deribit (affiliate link) trading platform for selling covered calls, verticals, and sometimes buying puts.
In the past month, I was trading both ETH and SOL coins.
Solana
Last month I invested an additional $456.46 in 14.253 SOL coins (average buy price per coin $32.03)
My total investment in Solana coins stands at $698.49 in 22.90 SOL coins (average price $30.51).
In October I was able to earn 1.2081 SOL by trading covered call options, that's about a 5.28% return on the investment. In dollar terms: $39.69

Ethereum
Last month I invested an additional EUR 225.82 in 0.168 ETG coins (average buy price per coin EUR 1,344)
My total investment in Ethereum stands at EUR €580.67 in 0.4628 coins (average price EUR 1,254).
In October I was able to earn 0.026073 ETH by trading covered call options, that's about a 5.63% return on the investment. In dollar terms: $40.86
Unfortunately, most probably, I will take a small loss with Ethereum in the month of November. Trading half-covered calls with crypto can be dangerous, and I have decided to close my existing Ethereum positions in the month of November and reinvest all into Solana coin.

The bottom Line
It seems I was able to take $80.55 or $2.6/daily last month from trading call options with SOL and ETH coins.
The total value of the investment was: $1,477.61
Trade plan for November 2022
For the next month, I have decided to close my Ethereum position and reinvest all funds into Solana.
Additionally to all covered call positions, during the month of November, I plan to open about 25-30 uncovered, delta 0.2, November 25 expiry, and call options. The plan is to open 1 new trade, every day. If it will work out as expected I'm looking at about an additional 0.3 SOL premium.
At the end of the month, I'm looking to take about $120 from options premiums.
Goals for October 2023
I'm looking to take about $550 from trading crypto options in October 2023, from today's perspective that would ask to increase my investment by about 6.83 times to some $10,000. Seems quite doable.
