Tskaltubo

Tskaltubo is a spa resort town in west-central Georgia. The resort was especially popular in the Soviet era, attracting around 125,000 visitors a year. Bathhouse 9 features a frieze of Stalin, and visitors can see the private pool where he bathed on his visits. Located just some 500 meters from Prometheus Cave, Prometheus Epic Hotel & Spa provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool, and a bar. Restaurant Lakeside is located in the town of Tskaltubo, Georgia on the lake Tsivi. First discovered and visited at the start of September 2021 In the evening life music was performed. Really chill atmosphere. Food was good.

Tsivi lake is located in the town of Tskaltubo, region of Imereti, Georgia. A direct translation into English - The Cold lake.  We discovered this place (more precisely we discovered the cafeteria located near the Tsivi lake) at the start of September 2021, during a weekend trip to Kutaisi and region.

Prometheus cave is one of the interesting places I have visited lately in Georgia. In fact that's the second cave I have visited here. The first one is called Sataplia Cave. In case you are into caves and speleology I recommend to visit both of them. Prometheus cave is located some 20km from Kutaisi in village Kumistavi (Tskaltubo Municipality), and if you are arriving to this lovely city  - I can only recommend include Prometheus cave in your itinerary while being in these parts of Georgia.…
