Motel Istros Aviaparkas is among the strangest and definitely the most solitary hotel I have ever stayed. Located some 4 kilometers from town of Panevezys in Lithuania.
It was the evening of my 31st birthday and we returned home from our three day trip around Lithuania. Tired. After checking few rural houses in the vicinity we decided hell - let's sleep among helicopters and Old Soviet war planes.

Located just some 500 meters from Via Baltica route (E67) - this hotel/motel kind of offers WI-FI, a TV set (with mostly Persian language channels) and not the best quality water in the shower (water with a high iron content)

This is definitely not an expensive motel - they have rooms like for 40 EUR and they have one deluxe room for 60 EUR. We took the duplex deluxe room for 60 EUR.

The Bottom Line
Strange and fun. No other guests during our stay here (August 2016). Cold faced receptionist didn't even agreed to give me a discount as no other guests were present at this motel, even after I showed here my passport and told, hey it's my birthday, be nice. Nope, that didn't worked out.
No breakfast in the morning. Cafeteria was closed. I wouldn't recommend this place, but on the other hand - just for fun, here is the link on Booking.com
