I have been living in Tbilisi since 2011 during my stay here I have tried tasty foof at more than a hundred restaurants and cafes across the city.
Update, this article was originally published back in 2015. Many restaurants mentioned in this article are out of business. Due to the article's popularity, I decided to refresh it a bit and leave it for history…
Restaurant Kala in Tbilisi's Old Town actually is one of the first restaurant I've visited once set my foot on Georgian land back in April 2011.
I have spent countless evenings here, enjoying Georgian red wine, listening to great live musicians and of course trying dishes.
I would list Kala as a medium priced place, with pleasant atmosphere and great service.

Basically here at Kala they serves both Georgian and European cuisine. VISA cards accepted.
The Bottom Line
One of the oldest and most probably best known Tbilisi restaurants. Centrally located in Tbilisi's Old Town (King Erekle street)
