Why I Rushed to Buy Ripple (XRP) Cryptocurrency at $0.19

I've been a lot into crypto currencies lately, in fact it's not even a full month passed since I've started my investment adventures into crypto currencies. To buy XRP at coinbase you will need at first buy BTC, then exchange it on Poloniex.com...

Invest in Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum and other) Peer to Peer Lending - Poloniex.com

Seems that crypto currencies are a hot thing on this blog during this Summer, though it was just recent, not even a month ago, when I decided to diversify my investment portfolio and allocate up to 5% space in it for crypto currency investments (buy and hold here). From my initial investments in crypto at the start of July (see: First Investment In Crypto Currencies - Bought 0.2 ETH for EUR 50) I've lost in value more than -50% in just 2 weeks, see: Crypto currency volatility,...

Crypto currency volatility, lost -54.42% in just two weeks

In the past two weeks, my investments in crypto currencies have lost it's value by -54.42%, that's insane, but here is the thing - I don't care much, as I believe in the long term run they should raise, break even and even grow in value. My story with crypto currency investment started just about two weeks ago, during a leisure trip to Crete, Greece I decided to allocate a small piece (up to 5%) from my investment portfolio in crypto currencies. Also I decided to use dollar cost averaging...

High Dividend Paying Scandinavian (Nasdaq OMX Nordic) Stocks in August

I'm on my way of building a million dollar retirement account from scratch by the time I will turn 60 (in 2045). Right now, in July 2017, I've reached about 0.65% from my goal. My investments this year have been spread across peer to peer lending, dividend paying stocks, mutual funds, cash and even crypto currencies. If you are interested in current progress, see dividend income reports.  I had an idea of building monthly dividend paying stock portfolio and I...

How To Track Your CryptoCurrencies Portfolio Automatically Using Google Spreadsheets

It was just recently I made my first investment in crypto currencies, I spent EUR 50 to acquire about 0.2 ethereum. As I bought them for a long term (buy and hold) and actually I'm planing to acquire more coins every month using average cost dollar,nI decided to build a separate Google Spreadsheet to track value changes, gains or loss. First Investment In Crypto Currencies - Bought 0.2 ETH for EUR 50

It was in the late evening of July 3d, 2017 when I finally successfully bought my first crypto currency - I paid EUR 50 and get for that - 0.2 ETH. ETH stands for ethereum. Wonder what the heck is that? Don't worry, me neither. Or let' s say this way - I know there have been bitcoin around for about a decade or something, though I don't see any practical reason for using that, while real money is in power. Right? It was so until about two weeks ago, while sipping freshly squeezed orange juice...

How & Why To Buy Crypto Currencies (bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin) Online - Coinbase

The other night I was talking with a fellow affiliate marketer on Facebook, our conversation for some reason started to focus on investments, stocks and crypto currencies. Seems that alternative finance income ideas like peer to peer lending, stocks and of course crypto currencies are pretty hot topic in 2017. In the past I've heard something about cypto currencies, mostly about bitcoins, but never have taken such investment opportunities too serious. I believe the vast...

Nasdaq Baltics Review After One Month Investment in Dividend Paying Stocks

I started this year (2017) with a goal to save one million dollars in savings accounts by the time I will turn 60 (that's in 2045). For some such goal might sounds unrealistic, for others nothing so special.Anyway it's not about who is right and who is not. It's all about finance discipline and hopefully sunny days in retirement age.  It was decided that I will invest $8,561 in 2017, in different investment opportunities- peer to peer lending, dividend paying stocks and mutual funds....

Investment Goal #1 - $100/mo from Dividend Payments

It has been a while I did set my general goal of saving million dollars before I will turn 60 (there is still plenty of time). The good news I've been on the right track for the past 5 months and I've been investing in peer to peer lending, dividend paying stocks and mutual funds. I like the idea of getting monthly interest or dividend payments, and I started with investments in Latvian mintos peer to peer lending. Despite pretty high interest rates (more than 11% annually) I feel pretty...

Invest in Baltic Property Loans - EstateGuru.co - Real Estate Crowdfunding

Lately I've been into peer to peer lending a lot, though my investments there are relatively small, in fact I've been investing just in one Latvian peer to peer lending platfrom Mintos. April 21st marked 3 month anniversary since  I've been actively investing on Mintos.com marketplace. Depending on your investment strategy - that's from little to a lot. For me, this seems a decent start, and I'm looking to double monthly interest...

Average Salary in European Union 2017

For the fourth year in row I'm publishing my humble observations on average salary changes in European Union. In this article I've decided to compare average salary in 2017 with 2014.  For previous archives see: Average salary in EU: 2016, 2015, 2014 I wouldn't call bellow written a scientific research, as most of the data in this article are taken from Wikipedia's article List of European countries by average wage. To make it more interesting I've added year of 2014...

12 Dividend Stocks to Invest to Get Payments Every Month

The other morning I read an article on Kiplinger - Great Stocks to Get Dividends Every Month, and I decided to make some calculations and speculations, as right now I'm looking to invest some money in dividend paying stocks and idea of getting dividends every month seems a very good option to make a living. My goal for 2017 is to invest $8,561 throughout the year, not mandatory all money should be invested in stocks, in fact I have already invested about a quarter of that money ...

How To Open A Bank Account in U.S., As A Non-resident Non - citizen, Wells Fargo Bank

Long story short - after the long and painful check operations, originally sent from the U.S., and redemption in Georgia (or probably in any country except USA), which takes at least some 40 working days and huge bank fees for check procedures - I decided enough is enough, I'm going to the United States and I will open a bank account there, in order to receive direct payments to my bank account instead of checks. Yes, there are companies in U.S. which sends checks instead of direct payments...
